Happy hens need to have fantastic facilities and a great team.Discover what we are doing right now.
6:00 - 8:00
With the first rays of sun, the trap doors open and when hens have laid the egg, they go outside to enjoy the morning.
8:00 - 10:00
Our farmers fill the feeders and drinkers, and check that all the hens are fine.
Food is very important. The fodder has previously been prepared by our specialists, taking into account the needs of each farm, such as the age of the hens and the variety of eggs that are produced. (Naturelle and ViuBio have a special diet).
10:00 - 11:00
The veterinarian arrives and the first ones to be visited are the youngest hens, who are checked for their health and growth. Then veterinarians carry out periodic check-ups on the hens already at laying age.
11:00 - 13:00
While the farmers do maintenance work, the hens enjoy a picnic, pecking among the stones and herbs, in our large grazing areas. This completes their diet.
13:00 - 16:00
In the central hours of the day the hens seek shelter from the trees, or enter the unit to drink water, cool off in the heated areas, or take a nap.
16:00 - 19:00
Sun is already passing and it's time for the hens to reactivate, they take time to walk, run, jump and continue enjoying outdoors.
19:00 - 21:00
It is getting dark and the hens enter again in the unit for dinner and bed early, because in the morning they will have to put another delicious egg.
21:00
Farmers wander around the units to check that all the hens have returned correctly and they close the hatches.
22:00
Throughout the day, the farmers have been collecting, packaging, and sorting the eggs. Now is time for our fleet of vehicles to go to the points of sale so that you can enjoy the freshest eggs the next morning.
